I recently heard an mp3 of a krautrock band called Agitation Free. The song was "You Play For Us Today". Really cool.
I looked on Amazon.com and saw some Agitation Free CDs but they are all expensive imports (or out of print). Sigh.
Anyone know a good place to get krautrock mp3s? I don't really want full albums, just a solid multi-song sample from various bands... something to keep me interested in krautrock until the record labels get brave enough to do some decent reissues.
Maybe krautrock will become fashionable again, like post-punk? Was it ever fashionable?

Hopefully no one is listening, so I won't get inundated, but if you want I can run you off a copy of the most amazing Krautrock disk I have ever received.
Basically its a dvd of mp3s of almost every album that Julian reviews in Krautrocksampler, plus a whole lot more. We are talking days of music here! There is some fantastic stuff on the dvd including my first introduction to Turkish Pshychedelia which I really got into...
Simply import the tracks into iTunes. All song/band info is included.
Drop me a line if you want a copy!

No there not protected MP3s so they would play on anything. Its an amazing collection for sure.
