It replaces my Delta 44's break-out box, giving me the following new features:
headphone jacks (2)
volume knobs for headphones (2)
monitor jack
volume knob for monitors
LEDs to let me know when signals are being received
power knob - reduces wear on headphones when not making music
lots of other connections and thingies which I don't use yet
I'm so glad I bought it when I did, because for some reason it has been discontinued.
This is a real shame, because it's such a useful extension to the Delta series.
It eliminated the need for a standalone mixer or headphone pre-amps, which helped save me money (and complexity).
