This was my first (and so far only) electric guitar.
I bought it on 2000-05-27 for $150.
I got it the same day I bought the Korg Triton.
I had spent weeks researching keyboard workstations, and drove 60 miles to a store (in Richmond, Va) which had the best Triton deals.
In the store, I decided on a whim to get a guitar too.
I spent maybe 5-10 minutes listening to different guitars and then selected this one, which was probably one of the cheapest.
I really had no idea what I was doing.
I don't regret purchasing this guitar at all.
I have no desire to buy any other guitars, although a bass may be cool some day.
How does it sound?
Well, I really don't know!
For one thing, I don't have any other guitars, so I can't compare it to anything.
Also, I always run it through my Pod Pro (amp simulator), which gives is all sort of weird sounds.
I think of it as a controller rather than an instrument in itself; the Pod Pro is the "intrument" to me.
If I have any nitpicks, it's that the transparent plastic covering started peeling off (not a big deal)
and that the screw to hold the cord in sometimes comes loose.
Minor.
