Yeah, I'd love to have a CD of all those dance mixes from Peggy Suicide. Some were pretty cool.

I love reissues like this, with lots of bonus tracks. The Fall have done a bunch. Great timing, since we got into the bands when we were poor college kids and now have enough money to buy the albums a second (or third or fourth) time.

The extreme would be:

1) tape dub (or vinyl)
2) tape
3) cd
4) cd reissue (w/ a few bonus tracks) -- from the late 1990s
5) cd deluxe reissue -- from the 2000s

It'll be like this for me with Saint Julian if they do another reissue.

How about you? Are there certain albums which you find yourself purchasing repeatedly?

- Drain'd Boner Deluxe Edition (w/ bonus CD of outtakes) -or-
- Complete Drain'd Boner Sessions (4 CD box set)

Saw the rants at HH about the poor quality. The copy I got is perfect and I haven't noticed any scratches or inferior quality etc. Hope eveyone who got a bad copy was able to sort that out.

Overall, its an excellent looking package, so huge congrats to Holy McGrail for making it look so good and the extra tracks are a real bonus. 21 minutes of Poet is Priest is amazing and I love the track "Gone".

Bring on the Peggy Deluxe...

Andrew, can I mail you my copy (or a copy of it) and have you compare it to yours (or vice versa)? It would be a huge relief if mine is "simply" defective, but someone needs to do some A/B comparison to be sure! (and I'm hesitant to order a second copy).

Yes, by all means email me some samples. Aparently there were some defective copies around. Mine is perfect. The mix is slightly different to the original one but not much.

Looks like there is a new JC album coming out for the tour and aparently its going to be more acoustic. The there is the Peggy deluxe package which will feature quite a bit of unreleased stuff on the second disk.

Did you get a copy of the Christ Versus Warhol cd? Its excellent quality (except for the bonus tracks) and well worth having if you like the early solo Cope stuff.
