Trex stands for Trav's: exercises, experiments, excursions, and extras. It's my solo side project.
The project's goals is to give my dozens of old practice/demo tapes the same treatment as Tripecac. So, I'm giving each song its own mp3, comments, and whatever metadata I can scrounge up. It's complete overkill for "throwaway" recordings, but there are a few gems in here.

Introduction
The name also means "treks", as in journeys. I recorded many of the songs while travelling. I'd sneak into universities' piano practice rooms or simply sing in the car (or on a hike). Most of the recordings were made with a dictaphone, so the sound quality is pretty crummy. So are most of the songs!
However, there are some cool moments buried in the muck. Once I get a commenting or rating system in place, it'll be easier for us to find them. Until then, you've got to dig for the nice bits.
If you're curious about my other music, check out the Anchovies, IPECAC, and Tripecac.
