Hey guys! I've overhauled the site!

I've also enabled the forum again. Hopefully we won't get any more hack requests!

Enjoy!

Hey Trav, glad you got the site working again.

I just looked back over the things I said before on this forum, and I'd like to apologise for my lack of tact when I was younger. It was fun, and I'm glad I found this site. When I first discovered your page on shoplifting, that was my first clue that there was more fun to be had with Hack on the web.

Anyway, all the best, and I hope the overhauled site does well. Certainly your reviews are fun to read.

I what's up I'm waiting for new reviews! :)
The new site design is really nice BTW.

Hey, glad you like the new look. Most of the overhauling work was "under the hood"; the entire site is XHTML/CSS now. :)

I've been playing catch-up with Roguelikes on my laptop, and am compiling notes. I'll turn them into reviews when I have enough info to add.

Do you have any particular games you'd like me to review?

What about my own? ;)

It would be a preview though, 'cause the game is far from being finished.

I used to have an old computer back in Russia, and the most addictive game on it was STALK, I think it's the Soviet Roguelike game. I never won it, of course. Someone made a DOS\Windows version, but I only can run it with DOSbox in XP. It can't display Russian letters, which makes it hard to play, >:-(! Yes, it has dungeons, a quest for an item, and the character is an @.

Okay, I'm getting tired of those Ragnarok Hack requests, so I added a javascript quiz to the POST button. Anyone who's into Roguelikes should be able to answer it. I bet you can even guess the question! :)

Hi roguelike guys & gals

Just wanted to let you know that I made an add on for Dungeons of the Necromancer's Domain that you might like. It's called Underdelve, and it adds a new 20 level dungeon to the game.

Underdelve presents a more "dungeony" dungeon than the random-looking mazes found in DND, DotND and Telengard.

You can download Underdelve (and the DotND game) from my "Dungeons Deep" dungeon crawl game page. Be forewarned, once you get to level 18 or 19, it is very difficult to get the orb -but that's always been the challenge, right?

Take care,

Hi, I moved us to my new server (tripalot.com).

Cool to see DoomRL get mentioned in a couple gaming mags. Makes me wanna try it out when I get some free time.

Anyone know what's up with Thangorodrim? No updates in ages there. Ditto for Home of the Underdogs. Where's everybody gone???

What Roguelike sites do y'all checkout regularly?

Which ones? I'm trying to locate all DoomRL paper references I can ^_^

Eeek, sorry, but I don't remember which mags or which issues. It was a couple months ago. Try PCG, CGW, or GGM.
