This time, we're using "real" forum software (phpbb) rather than some guestbook perl scripts from the mid-1990s. We've got all sorts of new features that let us moderate, edit, and delete posts, eliminate spam, and control who gets to post what and where. Perhaps most importantly, we have the ablilty to split our conversation into multiple threads. This will help us isolate the "real" posts from the "chatter". Hopefully the tools provided with this forum will enable us to communicate happily and productive.
