It certainly would be nice to have the manual in PDF (or DOC or HTML) format! Unfortunately, I never found one.

Here are some ideas:

1) Have you tried calling Tascam? They might have some scans somewhere.

2) Otherwise, I'm guessing your best bet is to try to find a manual ebay or craigslist (although I have never seen one).

3) Or perhaps an owner with a good scanner (and a few hours) can digitize it for you.

4) If you are desperate, you could buy another one and use its manual.
