In 1989, Jon Friesen and I (Travis Emmitt), who were both in IPECAC, joined our friends Allen, Anand, and Luke to create a band called The Master Anchovies. Jon played with us until 1990. The rest of us continued as the Dead Anchovies until 1994.

This site presents the entire Anchovies catalog. Every song has its own mp3, comments, and whatever metadata I could scrounge up. It's complete overkill for a band that hasn't existed since 1994, but hey, no one listened to us back then either, so it's not like our popularity has waned or anything.

Introduction

Most of the music is pretty bad. As in "pretty" I mean "monsterously". Really, really, really bad.

However, there are some cool moments buried in the muck. You just have to dig for them. Enjoy what you can. Feel free to contact me and let me know what you think!

If you're curious about my other music, check out IPECAC, Trex, and Tripecac.
